We believe in the whole child
At OPS we are dedicated to the education and care of young children. We believe that every child is unique and full of special qualities. Our program focuses on developing interpersonal relationships between the children and adults and also building on their natural curiosity by creating an environment in which they will have the opportunity to experience and explore art, cooking, literature, math, science, singing, dancing, lots of outdoor play and discovery time ensuring that the focus is on developing positive self-esteem, building self-confidence and learning pro-social behavior. We strongly feel that by encouraging our kids to learn how to respond positively and compassionately to each other, courteously identify and acknowledge their own and others’ feelings, and resolve conflict kindly & thoughtfully will help to foster and shape a child on so many developmental levels that will in turnbBenefit the child has he/she grows.

How We Work
At Oceanview Preschool & Daycare, we understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities.
We believe that when we expose children to an environment that is rich with fun , culture, language and educational materials that children will be able to expand on their various learning experiences, explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Oceanview Preschool & Family Daycare, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

-OPS hours are from 7:30 am-5:30 pm Mon-Fri.
-We offer Full and Part Time days available.

Our Programs
Learning Through Play
The educational programs at Oceanview Preschool & Family Daycare were created with our children’s needs in mind: We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy with the belief that learning through play is an essential part of a child's development, hands on experiences, exploration, imitation and lots of social interaction with their peers. We strive our best to host a safe and warm home environment for children to mature, develop and grow in while maintaining a fun yet stimulating environment. Art Lessons
Our art lessons provide children with the opportunity to use their creativity to draw, create and build. Children will have the chance to use many different mediums for their art projects from basic art utensils to natural pieces that may be found outdoors such as rocks, leaves and more!
Imaginative Play
At OPS, we offer children countless experiences for diverse learning possibilities. We understand and value the importance of children having time to connect with nature, try new things, create and wonder. Therefore our space is set up to promote child -led activities and tons of play!
